Driver Killed in Fatal Collision

Columbia, SC (WOLO)–The highway patrol is investigating a fatal accident. Troopers say the accident took place at the intersection of Screaming Eagle Rd. and Highway Church Rd. just after 11am Monday morning. Investigators say the driver of Dodge Caravan crossed the center line, and struck the side of a tractor trailer before colliding head on with a Mack truck. The driver of the van died at the scene.
