Gamecocks Win Home Opener 20-15

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO )– The South Carolina Gamecocks beat the East Carolina Pirates in the home opener led by true Freshman Quarterback Brandon McIlwain.

The Gamecocks scored 17 of their 20 points in the first quarter.

The Gamecock defense forced four turnovers and sacked the ECU quarterback four times.

The Gamecocks are now 2-1 and 1-1 in the SEC.

The Gamecocks face Kentucky at Kentucky in a 7:30pm kickoff.
