Victim identified in fatal shooting at Harbison Gardens Apartment Complex

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland Co. Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting at a local apartment complex on Sunday.

Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the victim as Nigel McFarland, 24, of Columbia, SC.

Columbia police say they responded to the shooting at the complex on 401 Columbiana Drive shortly before 7 p.m., where McFarland was found dead on scene.

This incident is still under investigation.
