Pedestrian Struck, Injured in Downtown Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A person was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of College and Assembly Street around lunchtime on Tuesday, according to CPD.

Police say the female driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.

The female victim went to the hospital and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
