ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– According to an incident report from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the incident happened in the parking lot on the corner of Henley Street and Gibson Street.

The report also states that an Orangeburg Public Safety officer was sitting in his parked patrol vehicle when David Glover came over and opened the door of the vehicle.

The two got into a struggle and the officer shot Glover in the hand, said officials.

Glover was taken to a hospital for treatment and the officer was not injured.

Glover is being charged with breach of peace, aggravated in nature.

Because this is an officer involved shooting, DPS requested SLED to investigate the shooting.
