Chips Ahoy! to debut new cookie recipe with improved chocolate chips

(CNN)– A big change for one of the most popular cookies on the market is coming.

The makers of ‘Chips-Ahoy!’ say they are debuting a new recipe for the classic cookie.

It’s the biggest change to the cookie in 10 years and will include chocolate chips with higher amounts of cocoa.

The new cookie will also use Madagascar vanilla extract.

The company says the Chips-Ahoy! brand has been around for 60 years but says it’s updating the recipe to give fans a richer tasting snack.
