Irmo firefighters control 2-alarm fire at apartment complex

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Irmo Fire District responded to a 2-alarm fire in the 200 block of Berryhill Road early this morning, said firefighters.

According to the fire district, firefighters from the Columbia Fire Department, West Columbia Fire Department, and County of Lexington Fire Department were able to get the fire under control in about 2 hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
