Deputies: 15 year old girl charged in shooting

Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– A 15 year old girl is charged with attempted murder following a Friday night shooting.

Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a fight between two teens earlier in the evening near the 300 block of Charleston Hwy.

Deputies say surveillance footage showed multiple people, including the suspect and the victim involved in the fight.

Authorities say the teen is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and persons unlawful possession of a handgun, according to investigators.
