Nursery Road Elementary School creating, producing original opera

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Fifth graders at Nursery Road School Arts Magnet created and produced a digital opera for audiences.

The production titled ‘Lights Out, Lock In’ opened on Monday night with a fifth-grade cast and crew.

The opera dives into the meaning of friendship after a group of students spend the night in a state museum during a rainy day.

This is the second student led production the school has made so far.
