WATCH: Crafting Bowls for the Hungry

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Palmetto Woodturners is hosting the second annual “Bowls for the Hungry” event Thursday, to raise money for Harvest Hope Food Bank.

Group members have crafted around 120 pieces, ranging from bowls to jewelry, for a silent auction.

The fundraiser is taking place this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Hall at Senate’s End. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Food and drink is included.

Last year, they raised around $20,000, which translated to 15,000 meals.
