Firefighters respond to Blythewood house fire, no reported injuries

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– No one is hurt after a house fire on Tuesday in Blythewood. Columbia-Richland Firefighters say it happened around 4 p.m. on Howell Road.

Where they saw the fire coming from the back of the home and quickly spreading into the attic. Authorities say the home was vacant at the time.

The fire was later extinguished but it left the home at a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
