Walmart shoppers could claim up to $500 as part of a class-action settlement

(CNN)– Walmart shoppers could be entitled to as much as $500 as part of a class-action lawsuit settlement.

Walmart was initially sued in 2022 over allegations that it overcharged customers for certain products, including some “rollback” discounted items.

Alleging shoppers at checkout were deceptively led to think they were paying the lowered prices on certain sold-by-weight items like meats, poultry and seafood.

The retailer late last year reached a settlement to pay 45 million dollars to customers.

Although they denied the allegations.

Customers could be eligible for cash payments on certain goods bought between October 19 of 2018 until January 19 of this year.
