Columbia man accused of killing girlfriend

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Richland County sheriff’s deputies say a 31-year-old man has turned himself in after his girlfriend’s shooting death.
Investigators said Percy Williams was charged with murder after 35-year-old Tabatha Priester was shot in the head and died around 6 a.m. Monday at a home they shared in Columbia.
Authorities say the shooting happened after a domestic dispute but released few other details.
Deputies say Williams left the home after the shooting and called a friend for a ride. Investigators say the friend convinced him to turn himself in to deputies.
It wasn’t known if Williams had a lawyer.
