All lanes back open after car & semi-truck collision on Augusta Rd.

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington Police say all lanes are back open on Augusta Road at Carlen Avenue after a vehicle and semi-truck collided this morning.

It happened before 5 a.m.

According to Lexington Police Department’s PIO Sgt. Cameron Mortenson, the wreck was caused when the driver of the car experienced a medical incident and was struck by the semi-truck.

The driver has been taken to a hospital but his condition is unknown.

This incident is under investigation.
