Funeral date for longtime photographer Robert Busbee set

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The funeral for a longtime photographer at the Columbia-Richland Fire Department is on Friday, April 12.

Powers Funeral Home says Robert Busbee’s funeral is at 2 p.m. at New-Spring Church in Columbia.

Since 1991, Busbee captured several pictures of major fires and rescues for the fire department.

He also had a hand in creating the fire department’s fire museum to showcase its legacy.

Busbee died on April 4 at 91-year-old.
