Here are some last minute tax tips for Tax Day

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with the South Carolina Department of Revenue say if you don’t think you’re going to make it by today’s deadline then you need to file for an extension now.

The fastest way to do so is through “My DORWAY”, an online portal provided by the department.

The IRS.gov also had tools and resources for anybody looking to make the deadline, click here to find out more.

But for taxpayers who need more time and are looking for an extension to file their taxes, there are several options available here to get an automatic extension through Oct. 15.

Anyone can use IRS Free File to submit an extension to file regardless of their income.
