Pet of the Week: Kanga!
LEXINGTON CO., SC (WOLO)- Meet Kanga! This lively and fun girl is looking for her forever home through Lexington County Animal Services.
Kanga came in to the shelter last year with a litter of puppies. Kanga and her puppies were all adopted, but unfortunately it didn’t work out for Kanga and she now finds herself back at the shelter.
Kanga is about 4 years old. She loves to play, does great with other dogs, has been good with kids, walks well on a leash, and would love a home that will give her lots of love and daily exercise.
Visit Kanga at Lexington County Animal Services today located at 321 Ball Park Rd. Bring your kids and any other furry friends along to ensure the best adoption!
April is Heartworm Awareness Month, and officials want to remind residents as we get into the warmer temperatures to make sure your pets are protected! Heartworm disease is a spread through mosquitoes. It is a fatal disease, but can be treated and is easily preventable with a monthly pill from your vet. Every pet that comes in to Lexington County Animal Services is heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Don’t let a heartworm positive dog prevent you from adopting!
