Local Living: Kinetic Derby Day, Pete Davidson’s Prehab Tour, Wine Tasting at Riverbanks Zoo

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–In today’s look at Local Living, the annual Kinetic Derby Day kicks off this Saturday.

It’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on State and Meeting Streets in West Columbia.

The event inspires creative thinking, completion and family fun as teams build unique vehicles.

Stand-up Comedian Pete Davidson is coming to Columbia.

The SNL alum will bring his Prehab Tour to The Senate on Thursday, May 2.

Tickets go on sale for the general public on Thursday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.

You can raise a glass at the annual Wine Tasting at Riverbanks Zoo this Friday.

The event takes place from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

You can sample hand-selected wins along with craft brews and food.

The fundraiser is hosted by Riverbanks Society, a non-profit that supports the needs of Riverbanks Zoo and Garden.

Tickets are $80 for Riverbanks members and $100 for the general public.
