Lexington County man sentenced to 6 years for inappropriate contact with minor
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington County man has been sentenced to 6 years for inappropriate contact with a minor, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
On Monday, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced that Steven Wright pleaded guilty to criminal solicitation of a minor.
Officials say in 2021, an investigator posed as a 13-year-old girl and Wright began communicating with the underage persona on social media.
He sent the investigator several explicit images and solicited various sexual acts.
Wright will serve his sentence at the State Department of Corrections.
