A’ja Wilson joins list of ‘most influential people by ‘Time’ magazine

(CNN) — A’ja Wilson adds another accolade to her already-impressive resume. The Las Vegas Aces star is now a member of the “2024 Time 100.” That’s the annual list from Time magazine that names the 100 most influential people on the planet.

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, who owns a small stake in Wilson’s team, wrote the time entry for her. Brady said Wilson is more than just an athlete, she’s also “an inspiration to all who witness her talent and drive.” Wilson was drafted into the WNBA in 2018 and named M.V.P  of the league finals in 2023.

Wilson and the Aces have won two-championships during her time with the team.
