Local Living: Irmo International Festival, Columbia Food and Wine Festival, Sweet Potato Festival

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–In today’s look at Local Living, you can travel the world while staying in Irmo this weekend.

The annual Irmo International Festival is this Sunday at the Irmo Community Park from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.

You can take part in the parade of nations, learn about different cultures through a car show, food, entertainment and more. Admission is free.

The 7th annual Columbia Food and Wine Festival kicks off this week.

From Wednesday to Sunday, nearly 100 participating restaurants will participate in 12 events celebrating a variety of dishes and drinks in Soda City.

Tyler Ryan will be live in Columbia on Wednesday to celebrate the start of the festival.

Get ready to fill your belly at the Lower Richland Sweet Potato Festival this weekend.

It’s happening on Saturday, April 27th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Hopkins Park.

The festival begins with a parade and will also include live music, games, carnival rides and much more. Admission is free.
