Fill your belly at the Lower Richland Sweet Potato Festival this weekend!
HOPKINS, S.C. (WOLO) – Get ready to satisfy your sweet tooth with some sweet potato pie at a special event this weekend!
The Lower Richland Sweet Potato Festival is this Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Hopkins Park, 6940 Lower Richland Boulevard.
Curtis spoke with Anetha Sumter Jackson, the entertainment coordinator of the festival about all the fun activities available for you and the entire family!
The big parade starts at 11 a.m. There will also be live performances from Luther Barnes, Rev. Milton Biggham and the Georgia Mass Choir.
There’s also a sweet potato pie eating contest, a health fair, a kids zone and so much more!
