City of Columbia Touch-A-Truck event back at Soda City
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Various City of Columbia departments are joining together to hold a Touch-A-Truck event at Soda City Market.
The City of Columbia’s Public Works Department, Columbia Police Department, Columbia-Richland Fire Department, City of Columbia Parks & Recreation, Columbia Water and various other City of Columbia Departments is holding the event for the second year.
Everyone is invited to take a look at some of the City’s largest trucks and heavy equipment as well as demonstrations on how they work.
City staff will be at Soda City market with the trucks to teach everyone how the trucks work and the work they do to keep the City of Columbia thriving.
Touch-A-Truck will be held on Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the 1700 Block of Main Street, Soda City Market.
This is a free event and families are encouraged to attend.
