Walmart launches new grocery brand called Bettergoods

(CNN)– Walmart is boosting its grocery department with a new private food brand.

They’re launching ‘Better Goods’, which is the retailer’s biggest launch of its kind in two decades.

Company officials say they’ve got 300 items under that brand.

‘Better Goods’ promises “an elevated experience of chef-inspired food at an incredible value’.

The new private label products include diary, drinks, pasta, chocolate and coffee.

Most of the products cost under $5 with none of them above $15.
