COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – In an address to the state Friday night, Governor Nikki Haley updated residents on what they can expect after Hurricane Matthew.

Haley says you will not be allowed immediately back in when the rain stops. She says you’ll have to wait until the areas have been cleared as safe by law enforcement. Haley says responders are ready along with utility crews to go in and survey any damage before residents are allowed back in.
