Support a nonprofit on Midlands Gives Day

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–The Central Carolina Community Foundation’s 10th annual ‘Midlands Gives’ is now underway in the Palmetto State.

The day began on Tuesday morning at 6 a.m with hundreds of local non-profits in the Midlands taking part in the 18-hour online giving challenge.

Officials say since its inception in 2014, the event has raised around $24 million for local non-profits.

Midlands Gives Day kicks off online from 6 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. and the public is invited to a block party from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Segra Park.
