SCDOT: Bridge on US 1 over I-20 in Lexington County opens

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT has opened the bridge on US-1 over I-20 earlier this morning, says the department.

The SC Department of Transportation says the bridge opening is a major milestone for the I-20 Interchange Improvement Project in Lexington County.

Also, the department has more than 100 miles of interstate highway improvements underway in South Carolina.

Drivers in the area is asked to use caution as the motoring public adjusts to the new traffic pattern.
