Local Living: Main Street Jazz Fest, Pick the price adoption special, Orangeburg community resource fair

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, the Cola-Jazz Foundation is hosting their Main Street Jazz Fest this Saturday.

You and the family can go to the 1700 block of Main Street from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and enjoy multiple bands, food trucks and more.

The event is free to attend.

 

In celebration of National Pet Week, the Columbia Animal Services is hosting an adoption special where you can pick the price.

From now to Sunday, you can choose the adoption fee for any pets ready for adoption.

You can pay either $10, $25, $50 or $100.

Visit the shelter on Humane Lane to give a pet a forever home.

 

The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety is hosting a community resource fair next week.

It takes place Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Middleton Street.

There will be small business vendors, activities, free hot dogs and more. Admission is free.
