Haley Comments on Rigged Election Claim

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Donald Trump’s assertion that the election is rigged has drawn strong reactions from both Democrats and Republicans.
Thursday afternoon Governor Nikki Haley released a statement saying “This election is not rigged, and it’s irresponsible to say that it is. Faith in the democratic process is one of America’s greatest strengths, and it’s more important than the outcome of any election.

Earlier this year Governor Haley said she would vote for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.

She did not endorse Trump prior to the SC primary, instead Supporting Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

Prior to that the governor delivered the Republican response to the State of the Union in which she spoke out against inflammatory rhetoric that would “threaten the dream of America.”

Those remarks were clearly pointed at the then Republican front runner Donald Trump.
