Bentley Leads Offensive Improvement, Winning USC Debut over UMass

Jake Bentley went from a third-string redshirt out of fall camp to the Gamecocks starting QB in their seventh game of the season, beating UMass in his debut, 34-28. Leading the Gamecocks to their highest-scoring performance of the campaign, Bentley threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns, while Brandon McIlwain also subbed in with the starters at various points on Saturday.
