Police: Man arrested for stealing WBB championship banners

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Columbia Police say a man has been arrested for stealing the banners celebrating the Gamecocks women’s basketball national championship off of light poles downtown.
Investigators say Jamie Jennings is charged with larceny.
According to police, Jennings is no stranger to officers who were able to recognize him from surveillance video.
He is being held in the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
