COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– A family member is speaking out about a Church stabbing police say took place Sunday in Wedgefield , SC.

Billy Lewis is facing attempted murder charges after Sumter Police say he stabbed another man in the church sanctuary at St. Paul AME.

Lewis’ relative did speak about the case. ABC Columbia also spoke with officials with the Sumter Department, on the investigation.
