Airbnb cracks down on holiday weekend parties with anti-party technology
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– With Memorial Day weekend approaching, Airbnb is announcing measures aimed at reducing the risk of disruptive parties.
The company says it will block certain one and two night rentals during the holiday weekend.
They also will review the renting histories of those booking homes during the weekend.
Last year during the Memorial Day and Fourth of July holidays, Airbnb says it deterred approximately one thousand people from booking entire homes.
