COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the South Carolina State Museum is planning an accessibility morning this Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Guests who are neurodiverse or have other disabilities will have the morning to explore the museum for free.

Guests may meet a character from The Lorax for a special book reading and experience a sensory-friendly showing in the museum’s 4D theater.

Registration is now open for the City of Columbia’s Summer Camps.

City officials say weekly Summer camps will be held from Monday, June 10, through Friday, August 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The camps are open to children ages 5 through 12 and cost $85 per week.

Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with a free lunchtime concert at the Columbia Museum of Art on Wednesday, May 29.
