2 arrested on drug charges, says ODPS

 

 

 

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety says two people have been arrested on Tuesday for various drug and other related charges.

Victor Maurice Keitt, II has been charged with manufacturing crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of an illegal/unregistered machine
gun, and criminal conspiracy to manufacture crack cocaine.

Rashaun Kentrell Hampton-Hammonds has also been charged with manufacturing crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of an
illegal/unregistered machine gun, criminal conspiracy to manufacture crack cocaine, and a felon in possession of a firearm.

Both men were arrested on May 28, through a joint investigation by the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety and the Orangeburg Sheriff’s Department.

“This was a highly successful multi-agency collaboration that resulted in a significant interruption of drug activity in the greater Orangeburg area,” Orangeburg Department of Public
Safety Chief Charles Austin said.

The incident is still under investigation.
