Lee County woman charged after causing bodily injury to victim, says SLED

According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Bryana Alexus Oliver is accused of knowingly and willfully violating the law by committing the offense of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lee County woman is being charged after SLED says she caused great bodily injury to a victim.

According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Bryana Alexus Oliver is accused of knowingly and willfully violating the law by committing the offense of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

Agents say Oliver was unprovoked when she hit the victim with a closed fist multiple times in the face.

The victim received a right orbital bone fracture, a bilateral fracture on both side of the nose, and a cornea abrasion to the right eye which caused possible permeant disfigurement to the victim’s face.

SLED agents say the incident took place at the Spartanburg Medical Center and Oliver was charged on Wednesday, May 29.
