Card game UNO more popular than ever

(CNN)– The card game ‘UNO’ has been around for more than 50 years but it’s more popular than ever with no end in sight.

The toy company Mattel reports that about one ‘UNO’ deck was sold in the U.S. every second last year, nearly 60 decks a minute.

That’s up from 17 sets each unite three years ago.

Also the retail tracking service Circana reports that ‘UNO’ currently holds the top spot in the traditional games category.

The game has held that title for two years globally and three years now in the U.S.
