Florida man arrested in connection with shoplifting, says Forest Acres Police

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– Forest Acres Police says two people were arrested after officers received a call about a woman and man shoplifting in the area.
Just after 2 p.m. on Monday, June 3, Forest Acres officers received a call about a man and woman who were shoplifting inside of a business at Trenholm Plaza.
When officers arrived to the scene, they saw two people matching the suspects descriptions leaving a business and approached them.
They both fled away from officers on foot; however, after the chase officers were able to catch both of them.
The man was identified by police as 30-year-old Bernard Nobles from Lauderdale Lakes, FL.
Nobles was caught with 74 bottles of travel size perfume which value around $2,923.48, all concealed in his clothing, says Forest Acres Police Department.
Investigators say while processing Nobles, it was discovered that he has active warrants in Myrtle Beach, Broward County, FL, and Indian River, FL.
The woman was interviewed and released.
