14-year-old accused of stealing John Deere Gator from high school, says Cayce Police

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– A 14-year-old has been charged with grand larceny after investigators found the teen near a scene where a John Deere Gator was stolen.

Cayce PD say on Saturday, May 11, a John Deere Gator was stolen from BC High School around 9 p.m.

The individual was seen on video leaving the school with the Gator which is valued at $8,900.

Authorities say the 14-year-old was captured by Cayce Police Department patrol officers near the scene and charged this week with grand larceny.

His charges will be presented to family court for prosecution.
