Wells Fargo New Settlement

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — It’s been two months since Wells Fargo was accused of falsifying accounts to meet quotas and now the financial institution has settled a 50 million dollar suit over new allegations.

This time Wells Fargo is facing claims they overcharged homeowners for appraisal fees. Those fees which are usually around 3o dollars were three times as high according to some customers.

A Spokesman for Wells Fargo insists the bank did nothing wrong, and agreed to settle to avoid a lengthy litigation process.
