RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)–  More arrests have been made in last month’s shooting at the Villages at Lakeshore neighborhood that left a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound, said RCSD.

In a press conference on Friday morning, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says 6 people between the ages of 17 and 21 have now been arrested, following the shooting at the community pool on Tuesday, May 28, around 8 p.m.

The incident captured on a doorbell in the neighborhood involved multiple shooters and more than 80 shell casings and so far deputies recovered 7 guns, with many of those guns linked to other crimes in the Midlands.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies are still searching for 22-year-old Joshua House who allegedly shot numerous rounds from an assault rifle at the pool, and was expected to turn himself in, but has yet to do so.

House is wanted for aggravated breach of peace and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature relating to the Villages at Lakeshore shooting.

Investigators say House also has bench warrants for failure to appear related to charges with the Forest Acres PD.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call RCSD at 803-576-3000 or submit a tip anonymously to CrimeStoppers at crimesc.com.

“This is a community problem and it’s going to take the entire community getting involved to fix it. Parents, community groups, and churches all working together with law enforcement,” Sheriff Lott said.
