Woman arrested in connection with early Wednesday morning murder

Sheriff Leon Lott has announced the arrest of Essence Jackson in connection with a murder that occurred in the early morning of Wednesday, June 12, at the 7200 block of Fairmont Road.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sheriff Leon Lott has announced the arrest of a woman in connection with a murder that occurred in the early morning of Wednesday, June 12, at the 7200 block of Fairmont Road.
Early Wednesday morning, June 17, SRT and Fugitive Task Force attempted to serve a search warrant and arrest warrant at Essence Jackson’s home, say RCSD.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department says when Jackson was not found at her home, she was found at another location.
And then taken into custody by deputies. Jackson was charged with murder and booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Essence Jackson and Raheem Jackson who was arrested on Wednesday, June 12, for murder are siblings, according to deputies.
This case is still under investigation by RCSD.
