COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The holiday season has arrived, which means more people out shopping and law enforcement says, more crime.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department wants to make sure that you take precautions to stay safe.

ATMs are easy targets for thieves- if you’re not paying attention, you could fall victim to a robbery.

RCSD staged an armed robbery at a popular Northeast Columbia ATM, to show you what not to do. Watch the video for more information.
