GEORGETOWN, KY (WOLO) – A fugitive from South Carolina who skipped trial in Richland County over abusing his child was arrested in Kentucky over the weekend.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page Saturday that they arrested Nathan Ginter, 43.

Deputies also arrested his female companion, Riley Pearson.

Authorities say Ginter had weapons on him, along with more than $60 thousand in cash and 16 fake ID cards on him at the time of his arrest.

According to investigators, earlier this month, Ginter failed to show up for court in Richland Co. for his trial over him abusing his 3-year-old daughter and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was convicted on four counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.

Ginter is being held at the Scott County Detention Center.

He will be sentenced once he’s extradited back to South Carolina.
