SCDOT: Overnight detour scheduled at Colonial Life Boulevard/I-126 Interchange

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– There is an overnight detour scheduled on Thursday night until early morning Friday due to a temporary overnight closure of the existing I-126 ramps at Colonial Life Boulevard, says SCDOT.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation says drivers will be detoured using the Greystone Boulevard/Riverbanks Zoo interchange at I-126.

The full detour schedule is as follows:

•  Thursday, June 27, to Friday, June 28, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Signs will be posted to direct motorists through the detour route.

Drivers may experience temporary slowdowns and stops in traffic and are advised to use caution, plan accordingly, and follow posted instructions.
