COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Voters turned out the polls early in South Carolina on Election Day.

ABC Columbia News was at the polling places across the Midlands Tuesday morning where lines were heavy early in the morning right as the polls opened at 7am.

As the morning hours moved on, so did the lines, many polling places with wait times less than a half hour mid morning.
