Columbia fire crews respond to dozens of fires on the fourth, some firework related

 

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–The Fourth of July was a busy night for the Columbia-Richland Fire Department.
A spokesperson for the department says between 8pm on the 4th and 5am Friday crews responded to nearly 30 fires.
of those fires, officials say four were definitely firework-related.
Officials say a home on Fernview Dr. was fully involved when crews arrived displacing six people.
No injuries were reported.
The Red Cross is assisting the victims.
