Opening Night kicks off Columbia’s first seven-game homestand of the year, which features three straight nights of post-game fireworks shows. In total, the Midlands will be dazzled by 27 fireworks displays following all Friday and Saturday games and after select Thursday games as well. Additionally, fireworks are scheduled following the Fireflies game on July 3, a night before Independence Day.
“As soon as the final out of the inaugural season was made, we started working towards Opening Night in 2017,” said Fireflies Team President John Katz. “Our team has been working non-stop as we continue to enhance the fan experience, build a promotions schedule that offers something for everyone and make season two at Spirit Communications Park even more memorable than the first.”
