Harrison Announces Bid For DNC Chair

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — South Carolina’s Democratic Chairman, Jamie Harrison is throwing his hat in the ring to be considered for the most prominent seat in his party, Democratic Nominee Committee Chair. Harrison made the announcement while on a National Political show Monday night.

Harrison says if elected by hundreds of DNC Chair members he would invest in State parties and build the bench of Democratic Candidates.  In addition, Harrison says he would be committed to expanding fellowship programs for young leaders across the Nation.

Harrison has been South Carolina’s Democratic Party Chairman since taking office in 2013.
