Columbia Fire Dept. to Join Wildfire Fight in Upstate

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–  The Columbia Fire Department is deploying personnel and equipment to fight wildfires in Pickens County.

A spokesperson for the department says eight firefighters along with a command vehicle, support truck, and brush truck will be assigned to fight fires on Pinnacle Mountain.

The Columbia Fire Department will join 40 other departments from around the state responding to the area.
